Position Overview
As an Account Executive, You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying, nurturing, and closing new business opportunities. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to effectively communicate our value proposition to potential clients. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for sales, a track record of meeting or exceeding targets, strong discipline to follow through and execute, and a desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through lead generation, networking, and prospecting activities.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
Sales Process Management
Own the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing, follow through to execute each step quickly with superb discipline and accountability.
Product Knowledge
Develop a deep understanding of our AI products, services, and value proposition to effectively address client needs.
Pipeline Management
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline, leveraging CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
Market Research
Stay current with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments to identify potential opportunities.
Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams (marketing, product, customer success) to ensure client satisfaction, timely issue resolution, and strong product enhancements.
Reporting
Rigorously document progress daily in CRM tools and work documents, to provide update sales reports, forecasts and next steps to management.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor or higher degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience
1-10 years in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in AI, tech, or startup environments.
Skills
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to understand client needs and offer tailored solutions.
Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills to close deals and manage client relationships.
In-depth knowledge of the legal tech, SaaS, or AI-driven technology sectors is highly desirable.
Tools
Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot), and Zoom.
Discipline
Can execute each step of the sales process quickly and reliably, with hard work, tough discipline and strong accountability, on a daily basis.
Collaboration
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with sales and product teams.
Adaptability
Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and can pivot when needed.
