Position Overview

As an Account Executive, You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying, nurturing, and closing new business opportunities. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to effectively communicate our value proposition to potential clients. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for sales, a track record of meeting or exceeding targets, strong discipline to follow through and execute, and a desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through lead generation, networking, and prospecting activities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Sales Process Management: Own the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing, follow through to execute each step quickly with superb discipline and accountability.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our AI products, services, and value proposition to effectively address client needs.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline, leveraging CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions. 
  • Market Research: Stay current with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments to identify potential opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (marketing, product, customer success) to ensure client satisfaction, timely issue resolution, and strong product enhancements
  • Reporting: rigorously document progress daily in CRM tools and work documents, to provide update sales reports, forecasts and next steps to management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or higher degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience: 1-10 years in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in AI, tech, or startup environments.
  • Skills:
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. 
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). 
    • Ability to understand client needs and offer tailored solutions. 
    • Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills to close deals and manage client relationships.
    • In-depth knowledge of the legal tech, SaaS, or AI-driven technology sectors is highly desirable.
  • Tools: Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot), and Zoom.
  • Discipline: can execute each step of the sales process quickly and reliably, with hard work, tough discipline and strong accountability, on a daily basis.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with sales and product teams.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and can pivot when needed.
